Rabbit Advocacy founder, Carmina Gooch, pushed for this for years, sending many letters to the District of North Vancouver. Kim Marosevich, District shelter manager, and Carmina were in regular contact about the issue and about the need for a bylaw. Carmina spoke at the May 3rd meeting and had over 200 people sign postcards supporting a bylaw.
Once again, private advocacy gets humane treatment of animals done!
