Animal Advocates Watchdog

What horrid news: Proctor & Gamble have just purchased Nutura foods!!!

P&G is simply the most vicious animal testing company I've ever heard of. And now they will expand their abuse of animals by subjecting even more helpless rabbits, dogs, cats, mice, etc., to their obscenely painful and killing methods, under the guise of 'protecting' consumers.

In reality, they are sticking to these outdated testing procedures because they are cheaper than bringing in more humane means.

Natura's brands include: Innova, Evo, California Natural, Healthwise, Mother Nature and Karma

Be sure to check out the link below to read the propaganda P & G is spouting...and help to boycott ALL of their products. Maybe if their bottom line suffers, they may make some humane changes to their testing practices. We can but hope.

Please pass this e-mail on to everyone you possibly can, whether animal owners or not. We do need to get the word out about P&G because they make thousands of products, including: Pampers, Tide, Ariel, Always, Whisper, Pantene, Mach3, Bounty, Dawn, Gain, Pringles, Charmin, Downy, Lenor, Iams, Crest, Oral-B, Duracell, Olay, Head & Shoulders, Wella, Gillette, Braun and Fusion.
And you can bet they are testing all of the above on those sweet bunnies that we will never hear nor see.

Be sure to see the paragraph from the self-aggrandizing announcement from P & G about how "Four billion times a day, P & G brands touch the lives of people around the world". If those 4 billion products were to suddenly have no buyers, we might have a chance to force change to their unconscionable attacks on these forsaken creatures.

If your stomach can take it, check out PETA's web site to get a look at the results of these forms of testing on various animals' eyes, skin and brains. One picture is definitely worth all of my above words and many more.

P.S. - Lest you have heard tales of PETA's exploits and wonder if their 'in-your-face' tactics are too strong, please remember this quote from Bill Maher: "It's not the worst thing in the world to cross the line. To me, a much worse thing is to never even approach the line."
