As each day goes by I am more and more disgusted with humanity...or shall I say inhumanity. How dare the justice system not punish these people who disturbingly and horrificly harm innocent creatures. Everyone knows cruelty toward animals leads to violent crimes against people. I just get so frustrated that the justice system seems to think FINES or 90 day 'sentences' are OK. This is not OK. We are seeing it with the Montana Collies. Why is a jury deadlocked?? How can they not see that this is abuse? I am very worried they will let those collie owners off, and let them own and ABUSE dogs again. Living in East Vancouver, when I walk my dogs I am constantly passing back yard dogs, who either bark maniacally out of boredom or stare hopelessly at me. What makes me so angry about so-called animal justice is that I haven't got a leg to stand on legally to help backyard dogs...and why would I in a society which will not even try a sick excuse for a human being performing HEINOUS acts on a beautiful, innocent cat...
