Dear Larry Campbell:
Your views on substance use as a health issue rather then a criminal issue is spot on. Perhaps you could join the overall community view and continue being spot on when it comes to stopping this endless cruelty to animals that I see every day in my own neighbourhood. Chained dogs living outside, isolated from interaction is cruel and painful to watch. It is the city's responsibility to prevent ignorance by implementing laws and regulations that can prevent such treatment of so many neglected, isolated and chained dogs that I see constently outside.
Larry Campbell, please do the right thing - stop cruelty of dogs and animals as a whole: implement some laws.
Thank you,
Rita Mashinsky, Counsellor working in the downtown easide and one of your supporters.
