"I am very disturbed that you chose to showcase the reptile sale going on in our area. Most Humane Societies have come out against keeping reptiles and exotics as pets, as they are seldom well treated. Greedy breeders should not have been profiled on your show. I was particularly disturbed when the "enthusiast" said that reptiles are easy to care for. Not so; an appropriate, healthy habitat for reptiles is complicated and expensive.
Please do some research into reptiles by looking at the website of the Rainforest Reptile Refuge Society. http://www.rainforestsearch.com/rrrs/home.htm
This group is bulging at the seams and barely making ends meet taking care of reptiles that have been dumped by their owners. Perhaps you should give them equal time to tell the truth."
