This picture of the tail end of Cheech (heres-lookin-at-ya-craig@cheech.com ) is another priceless one!

Of course, a picture is only a picture until an absolutely wonderful caption is attached to it! It is truly heartwarming to read the report which tells us how well Cheech is doing. On the other side of the coin however, sits the video of Cheech taken at the Delta SPCA Branch and the copy of his assessment report. The killing of Cheech would have been a tragedy. Most tragic and senseless acts with fatal consequences are followed by the question with no answers that satisfy those who cry out to ask "WHY" ?

Cheech was saved, however, his brush with death was so close that I am unable to ignore that same question in my mind. Someone, somewhere who has been fully informed and involved with Cheech from the time he arrived at the Delta SPCA Branch can answer that question for me.

The video that is playing above the The WATCHDOG Message Board and the copy of Cheech's assessment will become more troublesome to me as each day passes. The game is over. There is no more game to play. It is time for the truth to be told, not only regarding Cheech, but in relation to the events which have led up to the very possible pending destruction of the BCSPCA.

The Society, and most importantly the animals which remain in the BCSPCA facilities throughout the province, can only be saved by truth. Who will step forward and provide that truth to those of us who truly love animals? Who not only knows what is right but is willing to do what is right in order to save the many animals who face the same danger that Cheech faced and will not be rescued ? There is only a small window of opportunity available to make a difference. Whoever can, whoever will, needs to take that step forward now.
