My niece and her boyfriend are visiting from Edmonton. They have a story to share. They have given permission to use their story and their names in an effort to expose the Kelowna SPCA.

Clint How and Candace Parker were moving from Kelowna to Edmonton. They had a one year old shepherd x rotti named Brodie. They were moving into a place where they couldn't have a dog. They wanted the SPCA to find a home for Brodie.

They went to the Kelowna SPCA the week of June 7 - 12/04 with Brodie. They were taken into a very small room and told that Brodie would have an evaluation test. The room smelled horribly of old urine. The test began.

The SPCA evaluator never tried to touch or befriend Brodie. She lunged at Brodie and Brodie instantly become terrified and snapped at her. She then said Brodie was dangerous and if they left it there the dog would be killed in FIVE MINUTES.

Clint started to cry and the evaluator threw a box of kleenex at him and was exremely rude and uncaring.

Of course they did not leave Brodie .
