No shelter in B.C. should ever have to plead for food for the animals. There is more than enough money donated. It is the appalling waste of the money that dictates shelters having to plead for even more donations to meet the simplest of needs. Rediculous amounts are wasted on high priced consultants, unnecessary litigations, flashy corporate offices, expensive retreats, bloated salaries etc. etc. People honestly believe that when they donate to BC SPCA the money goes to assist in the care and feeding of animals. What actually trickles down to shelters is pathetic. Come on, BC SPCA...let's have a look at your books.
