People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals is holding a peaceful protest on Tues Aug. 24th\04 at 11:45 am. This protest will be held outside the Abbotsford Walmart.This is a protest against Iam's, which do horrible, painful tests on their lab dogs and cats. Huge chunks of muscle are cut out of dogs thighs then the dogs are left on cold, barren floors. with no pain control. Dogs and cats are routinely housed in barren, metal slated floored cages for years! No socialization, no proper medical attention. They are left there with open wounds and terrified. We need to let Iam's know we will NOT stand for this treatment of dogs and cats. You can also download a sign that says "We won't buy Iam's while dogs and cats die!"
