I have actually picked up these two very loving dogs from the park(they had almost got hit by a passing car) and turned them into the SPCA myself. My Shepherd, 5 yr old son, me and these two all in a small car. I feel really sad to hear these are famous and known. I should have just drove home with them as my instincts told me to. I think the only thing I did right was refuse to drive them home(the owners request,to save herself some money) and the SPCA. I just figured I cared enough to take them off the street, she should care enough to come get them.And if she did not(I had hope she would not) I felt a Dane rescue would help them. I have only recently found the AAS site and I feel a little sick.(I had alot more trust in the system) Next time I will be alot more wiser.
