Breeders want clear laws from the BC SPCA

Response to Lorie Chortyk's comments. Lorie you did not go far enough in your statement, about breeders and establishing by-laws or regulations for "all breeders, backyard or commercial". If the SPCA would listen to the breeders for a change they would be hearing that we want a real
"Animal Welfare Act" in Canada with set guidelines for breeders to follow and with proper administration and punishment regulations, not the one-sided PCA Act that only SPCAs have, with no input from the breeder and no set guidelines.

This antiquated Act needs to be changed and replaced with an Act similiar to the one in the U.S. Check it out look up on the internet www.usda.com and see for yourself.

This system works. The problem in Canada is all parties involved in animal welfare are too wrapped up in themselves and can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. Let's talk people.
