I agree with Diane about Errington. I've been there several times and on each occasion they have been wonderful. This afternoon I was at the SPCA and when I got home I got a call from a rescue centre about an injured barred owl. I picked the bird (all swathed in a blanket) up in a cat carrier and rushed to Errington. Robin Campbell was there to meet us. He was so friendly and welcoming. He thanked us repeatedly. He took us to his admitting area and got the owl out to examine him/her. He even let us take photographs. After we left he was going to feed the owl. Apparently there are some major health issues, so I wish the bird a speedy recovery.

That's the way to get donations. Just be friendly and welcoming to everybody. Out with my check book!
