An undercover investigation at North American Pet Distributor, Inc. (NAPD), a supplier to PETCO, has uncovered negligence and death. PETA is filing a complaint with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, including NAPD’s failure to provide veterinary care for sick and injured animals, severe overcrowding, inadequate ventilation, and allowing animals to remain in shipping crates until they died from heat exhaustion or dehydration.
