The SPCA said 12 lb Monty was a dangerous 9/10 on their dog-test scale and that they might have to "put him down".

AAS rescued Monty from the SPCA.

Monty will give and get great joy in the right home. Someone who won't test him by trying to pick him up until he says he's ready to trust. Someone who will let him have the time he needs to trust.

But he loves to be played with and teased and he loves to snuggle in a lap. Aside from his fear of being suddenly lifted, by anyone he hasn't had time to trust, he is a perfect little dog.
