The SPCA is using AAS as its scapegoat

How many people in all of BC, know about, read and follow the information contained on the AAS site? Maybe 1000-2000 in total? And I wonder how many of those people are those working in the animal welfare field as opposed to the general donating public? I'd guess the majority.
In contrast, how many people read the Sun, the Province, the Courier & all of the local papers, plus watch CTV & Global News?
Considering the population of BC is 4,196,400 I'd guess a fair chunk of these 4+ million people follow at least one of the several sources of media mentioned above. It stands to reason then, that if donations are down for the SPCA, it's because the public heard about "questionable activities" from one of these other sources, and NOT from AAS.
It also stands to reason, that if this suit goes to court, the many sources of media will be all over this story like buzzing flies, and that will bring greater awareness about AAS for many more of those 4 million people.
The SPCA is simply going to drive even more donors away, and once again, it will do it to itself!
