A year later and the Victoria SPCA web site is still misinforming readers *LINK*

The accuracy of websites is important.

Unfortunately the Victoria SPCA website is very inaccurate at the moment and has been for the better part of a year.

On January 1, 2004 the Victoria SPCA no longer held any pound contracts, yet the Victoria SPCA Website still says that it does.

When the word pound is selected, outdated information is given.

This information has the potential to confuse anyone using the site who has lost their dog or found a dog.

Also due to staff cuts the Victoria SPCA does not always answer its phone and messages can be left unanswered for a period of time which means that people searching for a lost dog do not know to check with the Victoria pound.

Requests to update the site for much of the last year have been ignored.

Other changes are made almost daily. The Dog Adoption page states that the Victoria SPCA is closed two days a week while the rest of the website does not.
