Demos in Vancouver

We'd rather go naked than wear fur
Sears, Granville at Robson, Vancouver
1:00 - 1:45 pm

The demo will start at 1:00 pm but please arrive at 12:45pm.

Activists can participate either clothed or naked! If you're willing to take it all off for the cause, it will be chilly so here's a few tips for staying warm:
- Eat a good breakfast
- Do a light jog or brisk walk just before to get the blood flowing
- Keep your shoes on during the demo
- Wear a toque if you wish
- Please also bring a plastic bag for your clothes

You can view photos from previous demos at
http://www.veganvoices.com/gallery/index.html so you know what to expect.

For the record, as long as we keep the genital area covered, it's legal!!
Both women and men can be topless in Vancouver.

We'll be there rain or shine! There is an overhang to keep us out of the rain.

Visit http://www.furisdead.com for more campaign info, or contact Ashley at 604-230-2837 or ashley_fruno@hotmail.com if you have any questions.

Hope to see you there,

Other demos coming your way:

January 22, KFC demo in Langley, the corner of 64th avenue and 200th street. We targeted this KFC in October, the demo was a huge success. KFC was very irritated and we managed to fend off a giant walking taco. This demo will be held from 12:00 - 4:00pm. Please check out www.kfccruelty.com for more info. This demo is brought to you by Liberation BC and PETA.

On January 29, we will be having a anti-wool demo at United Colors of benetton in Oakridge mall. We will be at the corner of W 41st avenue and Cambie. This demo will be from 12:00 to 4:00pm. Please check out www.unitedcrueltyofbenetton.com for more detail on how this store is torturing lambs. This demo is brought to you by PETA.

*The demos are quite long, but don't feel you have to stay for the entire time. 12 - 2 is the key time to attend.
