Animal Advocates Watchdog

Helen Hughes, AAS friend, defendant, and target of SPCA bullying

AAS doesn't usually promote anything but animal related causes on this board, but the founder and principal of this school has stood by me and AAS fearlessly and this is the least I can do.

Helen Hughes founded Windsor House Alternative School in her home more than thirty-four years ago. Her school was so well thought of by school board administrators in North Vancouver that they made Windsor House the District's official alternative school. That was almost thirty-two years ago and Windsor House has grown and thrived, but not without constant struggle and lack of money.

Helen was one of AAS's first Directors and even though she hasn't been for many years, and has never posted one word on the AAS web site, the SPCA included her in its law suit.

The SPCA also included other old Directors and even current Directors who have never posted one word, defamtory or otherwise.

Why would it do that? Because it hoped that it would be successful in frightening any friends and supporters into begging me to remove the web site, since it had failed dismally to frighten me personally in 2001 and 2003. That's bullying, something the SPCA is good at.

The SPCA made another of its idiotic miscalculations when it thought that I would have cowards for friends. But that tendency to make staggeringly brainless decisions is exactly why it is in the mess it is in now.
