I just finished watching A&E "The Cruelty Connection". It was very disturbing, some parts were extremely difficult to watch, the torturing and setting fire to a Yorkie for one.If this isn't a wake up call to get our animal abuse laws toughened up I don't know what is!! This program just reinforced what most of us know already. Those that abuse and torture animals MUST be taken seriously, it's not just boys being boys or kids being kids. It is a criminal act and MUST be treated as such. We need to be the animals voices. Prosecute the animal abusers, jail time is what they need, not a slap on the wrist. As this program shows, most serial killers tortured animals first. Laws need to change and change NOW!!!
