What I want to know is why didn't the directors who quit (because they could not get answers), demand answers and threaten the executive with being fired it they didn't answer, promptly, fully, and honestly? I quit years ago from my SPCA board when I couldn't get answers, and the rest of the board were just brainless bobbleheads who had no idea what was going on voted me off the board for being a "troublemaker". You would have a hard time believing how stupid and easily manipulated the average SPCA board member is (many are nasty too), unless you had experienced it. If I was ever on an SPCA board again, I would hire a lawyer to get answers.
