Anti-fur demo
Tuesday, February 22
1:00 - 3:00pm (please arrive a few minutes early if you can)
The corner of Howe and Cordova street, Vancouver
(near the Convention center)

This demo is in protest of the American legends fur auction taking place at the Convention and Exhibition center. We have some very elaborate props including an 18 foot inflatable beaver and signs that say 'fur: leave it to beavers'. To find out what's wrong with fur, check out www.furisdead.com.

If anyone is planning to bring their vehicle to the demo, and wouldn't mind arriving at 12:30, please let me know. The beaver inflates using a car battery, we have devised a plan to inflate the beaver, however a back up would be good!

Signs and leaflets are provided, just bring yourself and anyone else you can. Lets show those furriers they aren't welcome here!!

This is a rain or shine event, the animals need us, even when it's raining.
