I would like to see the Committee of Management Meeting Minutes from January 2000 to November 2001. The CoM [the board of directors' executive committee] was making decisions during that period which it had no authority to make in my opinion. Those decisions included hiring highly paid Head Office staff and the purchase of the office building on E. 7th to accommodate their growing administration. According to the Bylaws, the CoM was required to seek the approval of the BoD for expenditures. Not only did they not seek that approval, but also they actually kept secret their actions by failing to issue CoM meeting minutes, even when I wrote requesting the minutes. I protested in writing and verbally at a BoD meeting, but the minutes were never produced and no one was willing to support me when I pointed out that their actions in hiring extra Head Office staff were in violation of the Bylaws.
