This dog is the only one who can approach this cat's offspring, pick it up
when they are no bigger than your thumb, warm them inside his mouth, and
then give them back to mom. In return he gets groomed during shedding season
by the cats. The pictures were taken at different times, in fact different
years. If you look closely, there is a cat on the dog, pulling out the dead
hair, while the dog is taking a nap. The other two will join soon after. The
dog must be around 10, the cat probably older. If there is a thing such as
happiness for animals, this is probably as close as it gets.
