Re: Is it still SPCA policy that all dogs in BC be purebred?

The breeding license is a better thing, I think, rather than promoting only the breeding of 'purebred' dogs. 'Purebred' dogs don't make up the entire population of dogs. My own preferred breeds are primitive-type dogs, and I was even thinking of importing a couple from my home country for myself because I'd rather not have these AKC-type breeds. I would pay for any licenses that I need to to keep my dogs (as of now I'm okay with paying 64 dollars for my unneutered male, although I am a bit sick of people telling me to get him neutered when he is the most controlled, stable dog I know, and isn't going around impregnating every unspayed female on the block) but I don't know what I'll do if I am forbidden to keep my dogs because they're not registerable in CKC or any other organization. They're not any less dog than a show champion.
