C.A.M.P. Program: AAS comment
In Response To: SPCA'S C.A.M.P. Program ()

The info on the CAMP program is from the SPCA's web site's media releases page, hence it is short on details. AAS has asked repeatedly for the full CAMP protocol so that you can read it to see how animal's fates are now to be decided at the SPCA, but although it has been promised, to date we have received nothing. We have no way of knowing whether CAMP is good news or bad news for animals at SPCA's: no way of knowing if animals are lucky or still unlucky to have fallen into the "care" of the BC SPCA.

It's hard to tell who's in charge of making sure that details of public programs are being made available to the public, but we suggest that you write Dr Jamie Lawson and Lorie Chortyk (below) and ask her to please have the full CAMP protocol put on the SPCA web site. A search of the SPCA site finds only the press release.
