"Joey is known for being an escape artist, a home with acreage would be ideal for him."-see Link to Kelowna Branch of the BCSPCA below.
Joey is a 5 yr. old n\m Rottwieler. According to the SPCA- Kelowna Branch, running at large through "acreage" country is a more logical solution to Joey's wandering ways than being indoors with his family and walked, run or exercised with them in a safe, fenced area or during a family outing. Following advice from the SPCA, I wouldn't give Joey two days at his new home before he would be brought down by the bullets of a neighboring acreage owner or scraped off the highway as roadkill.
"Joey is very affectionate and responsive", according to the writer of Joey's information. It seems to be that given the opportunity he would make a wonderful, loyal, companion to a family, indoors and out. Rocky was a Surrey yard dog. As written regarding Rocky ; " It took him 36 hours to decide that even a crowded couch was a lot better than the yard...". I pray that Joey is given a chance to make the same discovery.
