HELLO? It took them 5 years to respond?

One of the SPCA's senior animal protection officers, Eileen Drever, says "Over the past 5 years we've received numerous complaints on this pet store."

It took them 5 years to respond?
What made them take action now?
The SPCA clearly doesn't care about what goes on in pet stores.
If it takes 5 years to respond to numerous complaints about animal neglect and cruelty, why bother to respond at all?
The SPCA should have all those charges levelled at themselves as well, for knowing what was going on and allowing it to continue.

It is the ruthless, self-serving way the SPCA is 'doing something' that is disturbing, even frightening *LINK* *PIC*
I can tell you that the main cause of homeless animals is the selling of pets through stores

Until it becomes illegal to sell live animals in Pet Stores things will not change
