Anyone who is familiar with the West Vancouver SPCA shelter will know that they actually DO take in feral cats

Mary is not willing to stand behind what she says by identifying herself but her post is so wrong that it needs to be read....

I can't believe this story. Anyone who is familiar with the West Vancouver SPCA shelter will know that they actually DO take in feral cats and do the best they can to integrate them with the domestic cats in the shelter in hopes of eventually adopting them out. Especially kittens!
I think it is absolutely absurd to go through the vaccination, spay / neuter, tattoo process of these cats and then release them back into an unsafe environment. I have no doubt that the SPCA would have taken these cats in at the beginning, instead of having to deal with a dead cat. Did anyone even contact the shelter? The responsibility of this dead animal lies on PAF. - not the West Van SPCA

I'd rather be a PAF TNR'd feral than a feral trapped in an SPCA cage awaiting an uncertain fate.
