There has been active petitioning to allow dogs in rental homes. I do not stay in rental homes so it is not a problem to me. But deep wishes for all those who are. I understand you plights.
And now me and a lot of dog owners face another problem. Our government do not allow dogs even in outdoor cafes. From the information I have gathered, it is due to to potential health hazards. A couple of months ago, I was planning on my new cafe when they tell me I could not allow dogs in the premises. I was so sad and I became unhappy because of this. Because I always wanted to have my friends who a lot of dog owners to come by and be allowed to be with their dogs during meals but the response I got was hurting. To be frank, all of us have so much trouble bringing our pets out for a nice meal with them beside us. Of course, we cannot be unreasonable to those who do not love dogs but I guess it is stil all right for dogs to be with us in the patio or something outdoor where the health hazards are greatly reduced. Moreover, isn't the smoke from our cars and smoke from smokers a more dangerous hazard to human health? I do not understand why we can have dog-friendly hotel and not dog friendly outdoor restaurants and cafes.
Please help. What can we do about this? I was advised to approach our MLA but will it really work? I hope
