After reading this awful, heartbreaking article you scroll down to the bottom of the message and the last line reads 'The owners face possible criminal charges' What does the word 'possible' mean in that sentence? Who in their right minds would let these cruel individuals get away with what was done to those poor, innocent animals? I wish that the SPCA were more aware of their surroundings, involved a lot more in their communities, and always show that the welfare of our animals come first.
