Oh you're so right Michelle! It was a scorcher out there today.

I will leave out a big pan of water. I live smack dab in the middle of the concrete jungle we call Vancouver, and will more than likely get more 'coons and coyotes, but the water will be there for those strays that need it.

Occasionally I leave out food and water for stray/feral cats, because that's what I see the most of. And for the most part the food and water is tucked away into some part of the garage or deck that only they can get to. Because only they know it's there.

I have never (SLAPSLAPSLAPSLAP) left a pan of water for strays out in the open in the alleyway. There will be one from now on. :)
