Re: The Heat!

Of course the coyotes and racoons deserve my attention! And they get alot of it. And the birds! Let's not forget about the birds!

A friend has a 5 generational 12 acre lot on River Rd in Richmond. The family is disgusted, and so are other neighbors who are aware of the destruction. Are you aware that between #5 and # 7 Rd there are alot of alder, spruce and cedar trees that have been demolished for another damn parking lot! (4 storage lots are planned for ex blueberry/cranberry fields!! )

I have no idea how many birds were misplaced. Do you? Do you know that crows and hawks are extremely territorial? As are Sparrows and Starlings? After 10 acres of trees are chopped down to make way for a storage, where shall they go? They will be scrapping for every bit of square inch they can get.

Then my friend has the 'luxury' of going to sleep only to wake up to a car door slam. Either someone just took a leak....or dropped off a cat/kittens/rabbit/pup/dog/what have you. His grandmother said that August-December are the times when most dumped pets are found in the fields. F****g lovely!

So yes, I think about the coyotes and the racoons and all the critters that crawl and slither, and fly. Poor buggers. I've layed in many a field with a piece of sardine in hand trying to entice a Mom cat into a pen so she could be spayed. And males cats are even harder to get to entice.

Hey Informed!

And what have YOU done lately?
