In my journey I have discovered, or am discovering, that there is no meaning to life other than life itself
In Response To: In Pursuit of Happiness ()

The "Great Philosophers" of humanity have attempted in all places at all times to discover the meaning of life and to codify it in some way that would make it accessible to all. In my journey I have discovered, or am discovering, that there is no meaning to life other than life itself. There is no purpose to life, other than life itself. There is happiness. But that happiness can only be found in life itself. Socrates is not teaching me this. Aristotle is not teaching me this. Plato is not teaching me this. Neither Christ nor Buddha is teaching me this. But, Douque, General Jackson, Barney Barnswoggle, Rosie, Beauxi, Boomer, Maggie and Ping have a great deal to "say" that is relevant. They tell me that the journey is the goal. They indicate both this and that; neither this nor that; not one, not two. They concur wholeheartedly with Ali Yazman. They are teaching me to do the same.
