I long for the day when "biographies", such as this one about Truman/Sunny, are just stories from days of yore. Learning stories.

For me this story is a perfect example of why there needs to a class from Grade 1 to Grade 12 that involves compassion and empathy to animals. ALL animals. 2 legged ones to 100 legged ones. Finned, feathered, and furred ones. ALL animals. Math 101, English 101, Compassion 101....can you imagine?
