Jennifer Gore, Branch Manager of the Kamloops SPCA, was interviewed and stated that 60 cats will be euthanized due to yet another outbreak of "feline distemper". This is the 3rd outbreak at the Kamloops shelter this year.
The shelter will be closed until Monday for sanitizing and the public is asked to phone the shelter at 376-7722 for "solutions to their pet problems".
