You asked about a better name; I like to call guinea pigs, rabbits hamsters, ferrets etc SMALL ANIMALS hehe. For some reason rodents sound so derogitory... A house infested with wild, disease ridden rats is infested with rodents... Also, technically, a guinea pig ins't a rodent. haha, Not that is really matters or anything.
