I am not impressed either. Where in this SPCA "humane slaughter" policy does it mention the way factory farmed animals are raised and transported? And yet the SPCA is serving dead factory farmed animals to raise money for animal welfare (if you can stand the irony without blanching). Not only that, but it's been thoroughly documented that there is prolonged suffering in the slaughterhouses too, and a large percentage of slaughterhouses aren't even inspected. So how in god's name can the SPCA justify serving meat animals to get money for itself?
