SPCA Breeders - How Big is the Problem?

The Board of Directors has heard loud and clear about their employees, CAC members and assorted others affiliated with them who breed animals on the side. This is a direct conflict of interest to what the BCSPCA preaches about pet overpopulation and the importance of sterilization. Further, that that they have breeders on their payroll who are surgically altering ears and docking tails, and others who may be declawing cats is shocking.

I expect to hear very soon an announcement that this will stop immediately and that they rid themselves of anyone involved in animal breeding or unecessary surgeries against their own policy because of the obvious conflict of interest.

While all the attention has been focused on the employees and volunteers at the Sushwap branch in Salmon Arm, this may be happening at other branches among employees and volunteers.

Does anybody know of others who are doing this?
