The outpouring of concern for the tortured Daisy Duke in Alberta, and the silence surrounding vivisection.
What is it about us humans?
Animals tortured in laboratories are often there for years until they die.Why isn't everyone involved in this industry in jail?
On an on-going basis, one of our local stores (among many other such fund-raisers) has fund-raisers for cancer, heart and stroke, ALS, and Alzeheimer's research.
I know that all these agencies use vivisection.
But I am always asked if I would like to donate, and I always decline.
Generally I'm looked at as if I'm a cheapskate.
Sometimes I tell the fund-raiser why I won't donate. Often I get a blank stare when I use the word vivisection.
When I try to explain further, generally a look of horror comes over the other person's face, and they accuse me of caring more for other species than I do for humans.
The vivisection industry has done a fantastic job of brainwashing the few people who actually question it.
