the VCP and I know the only way to get the "powers that be" to (possibly) listen is to write, speak up and speak loudly, have former and/or current staff and volunteers come forward with documentation and if pictures are available this always makes an impact.

As I send my letters of concern and protest out I always cc Animal Advocates. This ensures that your receiver knows other's are watching and awaiting change.

I work on a large variety of issues that concern me. Some of these include the SPCA and the Creston Crisis. I also sit on the animal services review committee in Maple Ridge and we have recently completed a business plan for a projected new shelter.

I am aware that there is little time left for all of the issues that must be addressed and sometimes I feel spread a little thin!!

Perhaps if you can rally enough support in the Vancouver area (the voting public), the VCP can be forced by public outcry to change and change quickly.
