In Response To: BC SPCA CEO Craig Daniell says the animals are the priority, but the evidence indicates otherwise (Jennifer Dickson)

Should we ALL not write to Mr. Daniell about his quote in the SPCA AnimalSense magazine? ("The message is clear - if you are inflicting cruelty to animals, including psychological and emotional abuse, you will be charged.")

I have repeatedly contacted my local SPCA branch regarding chained and neglected dogs, and they claim they cannot remove them or charge the owners. Given this latest statement of Daniell's, we ALL need to call our shelters, read the quote from Mr. Daniell, insist that they investigate and charge these abusers, and contact Mr. Daniell when they refuse...and we know they will.

Perhaps if we ALL inundate the branches and Mr. Daniell with calls, letters and emails, they may just get tired of us and relent. If not, we ALL then need to contact our own local papers and the CTV news with a report on this blatantly false statement.

We now have it in writing, folks. It cannot be denied. Let's ALL take them to task for not following Mr. Daniell's orders.
