I would like Nadine Gourkow to explain just how she would match this assessed dog with an assessed owner *LINK* *PIC*

According to the Kamloops SPCA website writeup, this young dog is "an intact male, fearless...rough with children." I would like Nadine Gourkow to explain just how she would match this assessed dog with an assessed owner. Can you imagine if the potential adoptor was described as "an intact male, fearless...rough with children". We would be hugging our children close to keep them safe!

Another flaw in Gourkow's approach is the inconsistency of BCSPCA employees charged with doing assessments and the apparent lack of consistency in applying BCSPCA standards from branch to branch. I find it ironic to say the least that this dog is deemed adoptable yet the very same branch destroyed puppy mill dogs for being frightened.

If this dog was in rescue, he would be neutered and rehabilitated prior to adoption. Why then isn't the SPCA taking the same steps?

Dog suffers from separation anxiety? Separate him more is the SPCA's humane suggestion.
The SPCA did this to Twyla too. Perhaps the Let Live conference ought to hear how the SPCA REALLY treats dogs *PIC*
