Please rescue Watson from the Kamloops SPCA who recommend that he be isolated outside because he has separation anxiety (probably for being isolated too much).

Watson
White German Shepherd, Border Collie Mix
Size: Large
Age: Adult
Sex: Male
I.D:
Notes: Watson is a sixteen month White German Shepherd/Border Collie cross. He is neutered, and would be best as an outdoor dog. He is destructive when left indoors alone. He plays very well with other dogs, and can be quite timid in new situations.

Driving the SPCA...After we posted the cruelty of doing this to Watson, and the hypocrisy of the BC SPCA's "science mistresses", Gourkow and Ledger, being invited to make claims of successful rehabilitation, sterilization programs, successful matching, etc, at the Let Live Canada conference to be held in Vancouver soon, the Kamloops SPCA hurriedly changed their web site to read:

Watson is a sixteen month White German Shepherd/Border Collie cross. He is neutered and loves being outdoors. He becomes nervous when left indoors alone and can be somewhat destructive. He needs a new owner who will work him through this. In the mean time, he will need to be left in a safe location when alone. He plays very well with other dogs, and can be quite timid in new situations."

What is the reason to say a dog loves being outdoors? What dog doesn't? But NO dog likes being left outdoors. No true animal welfarist would even hint that a dog can be left outside. This, and a thousand other cases, proves that the SPCA is still just a pet-disposer, not an animal welfare organization.

Dog suffers from separation anxiety? Separate him more is the SPCA's humane suggestion.
The SPCA did this to Twyla too. Perhaps the Let Live conference ought to hear how the SPCA REALLY treats dogs *PIC*

I would like Nadine Gourkow to explain just how she would match this assessed dog with an assessed owner *LINK* *PIC*
