Jerry is a 2 to 3 yr old neutered male German Shepherd. Jerry is very active and enjoys lots of exercise and playing with other dogs. He's a foolish loveable goof and forgets his manners and gets silly and likes to jump up sometimes although he is very willing to learn and only wants to please. Jerry is also good with cats.

Jerry is very nervous of new people. When first meeting Jerry, people must ignore him and allow him to sniff them. Women can usually pet him right away after this. However with men it takes much longer for him to trust. If approached by a strange man that reaches out to him Jerry will bare teeth and bark. If pushed he may bite and needs a very experienced home that can keep him safe while allowing him off leash freedom and lots of opportunity to meet new people in a safe and controlled environment as he gains confidence. I can not stress enough how important this is and what type of special home we are looking for, for Jerry. He is one of a kind in our eyes and very special.
