That is alot of time spent on assessment forms for sure. But what good are they? Maybe more time should be spent on imperative spay/neuter programs, making sure no animal leaves the premises unsterilized. Maybe more time should be spent educating negligent pet owners on how to properly treat their pets so they do not end up at the shelters to be "assessed".
I beleive there are very few animals that need to be euthed. You simply cannot tell their true nature when they are in jail and that there is always the right person out there willing to commit to loving the animal for life.
Can we get a copy of the forms they have to fill out? I'd like to know what the criteria for murder is.
