Re: In Courtenay, the SPCA says Kona wont bark when tied up!

After I read this post I immediatly wrote the Comox Spca and complained about the bio. I just went to the website and it has been changed to:

Kona 3263
Shepherd X 4yrs Tan/Black
NM
Arrived: April 8/04
Returned
AVAILABLE NOW

I can't believe Kona was returned! Previously adopted out as Culkin he was returned because he kept jumping the fence. His last owners said he was a great dog who was attentive, obdient, and friendly; but, when left alone he wanders. He jumps fences, and explores the neighborhood. Kona loves truck rides and "doesn't bark when contained". I think he would be great if he could go to work with someone or just if he stayed inside when no one is home.
