As the new year begins, I can not but wonder, how many animals there are in B.C. shelters alone, looking for caring, committed homes where dogs won't be left outside and cats will be given forever homes? And how many dogs there are sitting on chains, or left in yards now in this cold season? And how many animals will be given to shelters for the multitude of reasons people have for not sticking to their commitment? The plight of companion animals continues....
