Cats, Cats & More Cats!
December 2007

The Big Heart Rescue Cat Team has been more than active in the last few months and we are now at 197 cats that have arrived into our care. All of these sweet critters have been sterilized, vaccinated, de-wormed and de-flea-ed!

Darling Julius, a beautiful orange tabby just arrived from Bella Bella and you can tell by the sweet look on his face that he is more than happy to be out of the cold, have a full tummy and will soon have a family to call his own.

The Directors of Big Heart Rescue send out a huge thank you to each and every member of the Cat Team who make dreams come true.

October 2007

The Cat Team, made up of our Cat Partners - Richmond Animal Protection Society, Katie's Place, CARES, Happy Cat Haven, Action for Animals in Distress and VOKRA - has now placed 172 cats and kittens!

September 2007

From July 2006 - August 2007 (inclusive) the number of cats/kittens that have come into the care of BHR and the "Cat Team" is now 155! WOW, double WOW!

July 2007

From July 2006 - July 2007 the number of cats/kittens that have come into the care of BHR and the "Cat Team" is now 124! Through this incredible partnership Big Heart Rescue sterilizes and vaccinates the adult cats that will be re-homed and the Cat Team then places them up for adoption.

Orangey gave birth a day after her arrival from Bella Bella and we are anticipating two more pregnant Moms to be in care shortly.

A huge thank you goes out to Judy who organizes all the rescue organizations, does transport, vet pick-up/drop-off etc. and to the rescue organizations that so lovingly accept these special felines.

Won't you help us to help sterilize a cat? Your donation can help us to help those who have no choice in being born in the circumstances that place them in danger. A donation of any amount can be directed specifically for our Cat Care fund or for $100.00 you can sponsor an adult cat to receive all the above noted medical needs.
