Harvest-Sugar coated word for cull

Thank you Mike for speaking up about the Wolves.

What I find so unsettling among other things is the word "harvest". Is that supposed to make the act of killing the wolves and other animals seem less than what it is - mass murder.

The use of the word harvest comes across as a sugar-coating for cull. Unfortunately humans are still so primitive. When I read the articles all I got was a sickening sense that these people get a thrill from dominating, causing pain and suffering. Doesn't seem to have much to do about numbers. But then I guess they need some excuse.

This is recreation for them. They bring their children up to love hunting
Neither letter actually produced evidence that the wolf skull was placed there by a trapper
It would be preferable if he would respond with words, rather than with something dead
Thanks for speaking up for the wolves Mike!

Wolf Mission Sanctuary experience makes me sad that a wolf's skull used as a message of disrespect *LINK*
I would suggest to Mike that he carry that wolf-skull with him to every meeting
