A note concerning ancestral tradition:

I have been petitioning the Federal Government for years for the right of my ancestors in Canada to re-establish what I consider traditions valuable to people of my ethnicity. I believe, with Luke, that ancestral traditions serve to hold together peoples of similar origins. In a multicultural surround it is necessary for diverse populations to retain their own traditions in order to be able to contribute adequately to the Whole of said society.

As Vikings, the particular people from whom I descend, the pillaging and raping of other peoples was an activity that held my ancestors in a cohesive grouping. I have even indicated that these activities would not be carried out randomly but that we would do them in an organized and orderly fashion. That my ancestors occasionally separated the tops of certain individual's skulls from the lower portions of those very skulls should cause no fear to those whom we would raid because contemporarily we would use topical anesthetics. This is an important adjunct to the other festivities in that the skulls were hollowed out and used to toast one another at the cessation of our romp. Perhaps other Canadians are unaware that this was the origin of the Scandinavian toast, "SKOL'. See, already, only in discussion, there is a tangible contribution to multiculturalism. I hope, Luke, that you can sign my petition and I conversely will certainly support you in your endeavour to continue with your ancestral decimation of other species.

Mr. Faires, your post is the first I have ever seen that makes sense
Kluane First Nation has the right to hunt and trap within Kluane National Park
I am finding it hard to reconcile subsistence hunting based on ancestry and tradition with the modern practice of big game outfitting
Next Kluane sheep hunt will be taking place in Kluane National Park
